What to expect once you sign up

After you sign up, join the whatsapp group

You will receive a link via e-mail to join a WhatsApp (set up for the duration of audits only), to get updates on the upcoming ward audits.

Any personal data is only being collected for coordination purposes. All of this data will be deleted after the completion of audits.

60 min training week of the scheduled audit

You will undergo a 60-minute training session (online) to download and learn how to use the app. 

​

Please note that to do the audit student/individual should have a smartphone in ideal conditions (minimum 1.5 GB free storage space and good battery life)

On Audit day: 45 - 60 min field work

Beginning of audit

You will connect with their respective Coordinators, who will assign you 750-900m of footpath length or 2-3 junctions, which you will audit (this will take approx. 45 - 60 mins)

After the audit gets done

Everyone will re-group to reflect on the data you collected and discuss insights over breakfast.

Audit duration & timelines

Audits will take place weekdays and weekends, between March and April '25.​

​

Time for conducting audits on field: 45 - 60 min. 

Overall duration of the sessions: 7 - 10 AM or 8 - 11 AM.

Recognition for all students

All student will receive a certificate of participation from GIZ acknowledging the time spent as volunteering hours.
